Davyd Wong

Davyd is a qualified Australian and Hong Kong solicitor. He was admitted to practice as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia and to the High Court of Australia in 2003. He re-located to Hong Kong in 2008, and was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 2009.

Davyd has worked in top tier Australia firms, Magic Circle Firms, and as in-house counsel at a Big 4 Firm with a practice that covers a broad spectrum of corporate and banking related matters and has contentious and transactional experience. His areas of expertise include finance, distressed investing, workouts, restructuring, bankruptcy, and related regulatory and policy matters including banking regulation from his time at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.

Davyd is a graduate of the University of New South Wales, BCom/LLB (Dean’s List), and the University of Hong Kong, LLM (Distinction). He is also an accredited mediator (HKMAAL) and a fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators (HKIArb). Davyd focuses on special matters and complex projects.
