主要职责：

We are looking for an experienced Associate to join our growing Restructuring and Insolvency practice.  You will be working directly with respected senior practitioners who represent creditors, borrowers, insolvency practitioners and other stakeholders across the full spectrum of R&I work.  The R&I team works hand in hand with commercial disputes team and corporate team and is in growth mode looking to capture more opportunities arising from the volatile economic environment. This is an excellent role for an associate looking to grow their technical expertise and client relationship skills.

Key requirements:

• • 4-6 years PQE (HK/UK scale) 
  • Admitted to practice law in Hong Kong preferred
  • Experience in restructuring transactions
  • Experience working on contentious matters, including insolvency proceedings
  • Excellent drafting and mastery of the fundamentals of contract and finance law
  • A self-starter, capable of running matters or transactions independently 
  • Supervising and managing junior lawyers and trainees; strong team player
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Versatility and adaptability – can turn hand quickly to new legal products and a large range of R&I processes across multiple legal regimes
  • Large law firm experience preferred

• • Formal insolvency proceedings, including liquidators recoveries
  • Distressed M&A
  • Debt restructuring and rescheduling
  • Distressed financing, debt investments and trading
  • Debtor advisory 
  • Creditor advisory
