Ariel joined YTL LLP as a Trainee Solicitor in 2022 and was admitted as a solicitor in 2024. Prior to joining our firm, she spent over six years working in the Prosecution Division of the Department of Justice, working closely with Public Prosecutors in the Briefing-out Unit and the Commercial Crime & Corruption Unit, involving in criminal cases of different nature in court.
She is developing a broad practice in both criminal defense and civil matters. On the criminal and regulatory front, she has been involved in defending clients in various criminal prosecution including charges of indecent assault, fraud, money laundering and dangerous driving. Her experience in the DOJ enabled her in providing clients with valuable first-hand perspective when she stands on the other side.
On the civil and commercial front, Ariel focuses on commercial-related disputes. She has regularly acted for listed companies, major corporations and private clients in a wide spectrum of matters, including breach of contract, winding-up, wills and probate. She also has gained valuable experience in drafting business contracts, commercial negotiations, and regulatory compliance during her time at the legal department of a Hong Kong-listed company.
