Gilbert is a highly regarded fintech and blockchain lawyer, having overseen the legal and compliance functions at OKX (a cryptocurrency exchange); and New Huo Technology Holdings Limited (formerly known as Huobi Technology Holdings Limited) (1611.HK). Gilbert founded regulatory compliance consultancy firm Mura Consultancy. Mura worked with the asset management arm of New Huo Technology Holdings Limited and successfully obtained the SFC’s approval to manage an investment portfolio of 100% virtual assets.

With expertise in blockchain, fintech and digital assets compliance-related matters in Hong Kong and other parts of Asia, Mura brings first-hand knowledge and high-level experience in compliance matters surrounding cryptocurrency exchange and crypto fund management, as well as other crypto, NFT-related matters.
Our collaboration with Mura will further strengthen our firm’s capabilities and offerings to clients in fintech, blockchain and digital assets space.
